Yellow Fever

All passengers travelling from risk countries are obligated to have a Yellow Fever vaccination.

Upon entry of Suriname visitors will need to have the INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF VACCINATION with them at all times which needs to be presented when requested.

Visitors will need to have proof of their yellow fever immunization, minimally 10 days prior to arrival in Suriname. Travelers from risk countries without a yellow fever immunization will not be allowed to enter the country.

The International Health Regulations specify that immunization is also compulsory for transit travelers stopping over longer than 12 hours at an airport of one of the yellow fever risk countries.
