Legalization of signatures

For holders of a Surinamese passport

Legalization will take place at the Consulate General, you will need to bring with you:

  1. Power of attorney.
    Please note: your signature needs to be placed in the presence of the employee
  2. A valid passport and a signed copy of the municipality in Netherlands where you are registered, indicating nationality.
  3. Cost: Euro 15, =
  4. Processing time: 1 week

Hours of operation:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 09 AM to 01 PM.
On Wednesdays, the Civil Affairs Department is closed.

For holders of a Dutch passport or identity card
You will need to legalize your signature at the municipality in your hometown.

Please note: documents legalized/issued by foreign authorities must be provided with an Apostille at the Court in the place of residence/province.
